    Atlanta Audio Shop Recommendation?

Looking to take my 91 325ic to a reputable, reliable and competent audio shop to recommend and install a decent system to replace my non-working stock system. Not looking to spend a ton - it is a convertible afterall - but would prefer an independent shop rather a big box store like Best Buy. Even better if someone can refer me to a shop that has E30 experience.

    Thanks.

Seriously, across the street from andretti's, they do good work. E30's are easy to install audio, they really don't need to have E30 experience. They just need to be good.

Thanks, I pass that shop pretty often and thought about trying them. I will drop by in the next couple of days.

I would talk to Matt at Speck Dock. They make iPod docks for cars but will do installs on the side at their shop. He's the one that made my custom iPod dock in my car..

              Cabrio,
I'm with Luke on doing it yourself, but totally understand how time is not on our side much.
Being in Alpharetta, you aren't too far from cumming. I recommend:
              John Marsh
              American Radio
              410 Atlanta Hwy
              Cumming‎ GA‎ 30040
              (678- 455-3201

Excellent independent shop. Very good equipment. Years of experience installing and is a sound quality winning competitor, and won't try to sell you on something you don't need.

              sam

Thanks everyone for their input. I took my car to Digital Car Audio (the shop Frog recommended, across from Andretti's) and they installed my Kenwood KDC-X595 for $65.00. Worked with Omar, who was great - understood my goal (to keep music playing in my car, nothing fancy).

I was just afraid, based on the hack job by the previous owner of the car, that the wiring had been butchered and it would take me forever to trace and fix everything. Turns out I was wrong, but honestly, at the price Omar charged me, I was happy to have them do it.

                Thanks again.
