Florida ppl, need advice on a title.

So I might be buying an e30 shell. It hasn't had a title for several owners and has just been used for parts. I want to buy it and make a running, daily driver e30 out of it. I have the engine, trans, driveline, suspension, and interior from my totalled e30 to make this shell complete again.

My question is how do I get the shell retitled so I can insure and register it to make it a road legal car again? I'm working on getting a carfax to make sure there are no liens on it and that it doesn't already have a parts only title like my totalled e30 now has.

So I ran a carfax on it, and there's no certificate of destruction or any problems with the title of that shell. Is all I need to get the new title a bill of sale from the shop I'm buying the shell from?

        Call you local DMV.

Stuff like this is different from state to state, and you really need to know what's involved before you spend a bunch of time, $$ and effort on this.
