NC Summer Cruise
Saturday, June 25th, 2011
As some of you know, I am leaving North Carolina, which may be for good this time. I am headed to sunny Las Cruces, New (almost) Mexico. I've been in Greensboro for almost 13 years now and it's time for me to move on to a rewarding career. As my last e30 meet, I'd like to take people on a 60-mile cruise, photoshoot on some fun turns and of course stop for some delicious country cooking.
So here's the plan:
NOON: Meet and Greet
@ Edgewood Baptist Church Parking Lot
4067 Reidsville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27101
12:30PM: Roll Out
We'll take some fun roads up to Germanton (fitting) and up to the Quaker Gap. Make a scenic loop around Hanging Rock and come back to Walnut Cove. We'll stop by Duke Power Plant at Blewes Creek for a photo opp.
4:00PM: Hillbilly Hide-A-Way
We'll arrive at one of the best country kitchens in NC. It's roughly $15 per person (drink included) and is worth every penny.

I am returning from NM the week of this event and afterwards I will simply not have time to hang out with you guys (in large groups at least). I selfishly ask, people to come out for me. I'd like to know, that the time I've spent helping others and building our "club" has not been wasted and leave a little piece of me in NC. Hopefully, our community continues to grow and more people step up to continue bringing e30 drivers together.
I really hope to see everyone, that I've had the pleassure of meeting over the years. Thanks to the e30, I have made some very good friends.
