Myself, andrewm, caveman85 and angeldaddy are all in mandarin and St Johns, so i definitely feel you there.

Let me throw something out there. The Krispy Kreme on San Jose in Mandarin has a Saturday Morning cruise in. Kind of a cars and coffee thing, with donuts tossed in. What does everyone think of meeting up for that?

I've got two kids as well, so I know how difficult that can be. You can bring them too if you wish. There is usually some muscle cars and such out there as well

What works for meet ups better, IMHO and experience is to txt. One guy gets the numbers and becomes the point man. I txt about the meet, a reminder one week out, two days out and the day before. I ask for a headcount. Morning of (day of) I txt I am OMW.

It seems to work pretty good. We had six 02s show up for breakfast and a "spirited" drive. We do it about every 5th week. Try to tie your meet up with a local car group gathering. We met up with the local British car club. It was fun.

There's also cars and coffee the first Saturday of each month from 9-12 between riverside and downtown. I like the krispy kream idea though too. I live in Arlington in the charter point area.

Carguy101 sold his e30 a while back so I don't know if he's still around R3V that much. I did meet him once and he's a very cool and knowledgeable guy.
