Next time you're up at the shop let me know and I'll try to make it up there to help out.
Silver wagon has the only other explanation I can think of. It everything is adjusted properly and the head or valve/valve port isn't really jacked up if double check the cam. Have you tried the stock cam to see if it's off any?

Thanks Silver Wagon it was a pleasure meeting you, too! Yeah I need be more specific on the "cruising" part hahaha, I think 5 people missed the hecksher exit because of erratic driving lol, and plus it doesnt look good when we're flying all over the place LMAO

I'm pretty sure the heads never been off before and/or worked on, (also asked the previous owner). IE did have me measure the lift and it is the correct 272 with it stenciled in the ends. I also have 2 other spare heads where I compared spings, valves, eccentrics and such and all checked out ok. I'm most likely just going to take one of the heads conpletely apart and start from scratch.

Ken, i'll holler at you next time i'm over there! If its doing the same thing again, i'll try to use the other good condition stock cam I have.

Adam, the more i think about it, i think the issue is with the head. it would explain the wear on the original cam. it didn't bind because of a shorter lift. i wouldn't rebuild your current head. use one of your spare ones. hit me up if you want some help with it or just some company. i am curious now to find out what the issue is.

Silver Wagon, the more I'm thinking about it, i'm thinking the same thing that there is definutely somthing wring with the current head to cause that much contact on the cam, and if I do remeber correctly the spot where it would completely stop was at the same lobe that i showed you at the meet on the cam. I'll def swap the cam and rockers over to the good condition stock head I have, but is it possible that the valve is not reaching ffull travel amd getting stuck some how? I'll look into it just for fun hahaha!

Poorboyz, my friend works at dbmw.

So I have been away for a minute. Super busy and will be out of town Sun-Thursday next week.

What have we decided on Nov 1 e30 meet? How many people do we have going? Start point? End Point?

i know Shane there. i haven't talked to him in a long while though. not even sure he is still there.

i am good for Nov. 1st. i don't think anyone has come up with a plan for it yet though.
if someone would like to organize this that would be great. weather its a meet and greet with a cruise or just a meet at a restaurant and chill or a mix.

I can do Nov 1st as well.

On a side Note. I have a Eastwood Fender roller tool and I'm rolling fenders at $20/fender. Just got done doing mine last weekend...even though I'm not even lowered yet but will soon be.

                      So i have:

                      1) Bowtie2bimmer
                      2) Silver Wagon
                      3) Poorboyz

Who else??? I think AndrewM amd Caveman85 are coming too but not positive.

I was thinking we could start somewhere around JTB and A1A and end in St Aug. It would be a slow cruise on the beach road. What do you think?

                      Suggestions for starting point?
