    I went to Mt. Mitchell yesterday and the roads are all open and freshly repaved. It will be an awesome drive but please remember to bring a light jacket because the top stays immersed in cloud cover 30% of the time.

    we could do the parkway to mount mitchell then come back down and run elk mountain scenic highway to merrimon ave, it comes out right across from mountain java.

    i less than 3 mountains ;)

        Would you guys care if I brought a friend with an 89, 535i? Its pretty nice, Frankenbeemer may have seen it as it drives around our parts a lot. If not its cool I will be paying for him to come anyways. @Matt I am gonna give my money to Shane325 tomorrow and he said he would paypal you as I don't have paypal...weird I know.

            Ok everyone, the BBQ/Parkway run is just around the corner, or less than two weeks away! Please let me know if you are coming by shooting me the $6 per person for food as soon as you can. We already have 23 cars registered and over 36 people so this should be a good event! Don't wait til the last minute please!

                Hello to all! The picnic/Parkway run is just around the corner and I am really excited! For those of you who are waiting to make the decision to come please do so as soon as possible. The cut off for claiming your lunch is the Friday the 11th but I am asking everyone to make an effort to send their lunch money no later than Weds. the 9th. Please send $6 per person who wants to eat as a gift to paypal account Mattkoppi@hotmail.com.
                Directions to the park:
                From I-40 east or west and for I-26 coming up from SC.
                · Follow I-40 towards Asheville and take exit 53B onto I-240W/US-74 Alt W
                · Very quickly after you take exit 53B you need to take Exit 8 for U.S. 74-A and right onto US-74 Alt W/ Fairview Rd.
                · Follow Fairview Rd. to the end (you should be at a T-intersection with a golf course in front of you)
                · Turn Right onto Swannanoa River Rd. and follow it for 0.7mi
                · Take the first right onto Azalea Rd.
                · Take the first right again onto Gashes Creek Rd. (you will be turning right over a bridge and into the Recreation Park.
                · Once over the bridge you will look for Shane at the first turn to your right. He will have lunch tickets for everyone who has paid and will be letting you know where to park.


                From I-26 coming from Johnson City TN
                · Follow I-26 towards Asheville
                · Merge onto I-240 E and follow through Asheville then take Exit 8

                    I am working on it. The Photographer I had is no longer able to attend. There is going to be a gentleman there that does video work and his goal is to make a short video for future promotional value along with a longer video that should include everyone's cars.

                      I might try to come. I'd hate for everybody with nice e30's to see mine. It's starting to fall apart :( I'm training in Atlanta till friday. Ill call the girlfriend when I get out today and see if she has to work saturday. We live close to Johnson City.

                      After she says she can/can't go ill paypal money for food.

                      Anbody going to be bringing parts to sell?

                        I did not specifically say that we are/are not having a swap meet but if you want to bring some stuff, feel free I am sure others will as well.
