I called the GA State Parks 800 number and asked them if it was possible to reserve specific site numbers. The guy I spoke with said all he could do was take the reservations and make sure the park had that many spots available. He suggested that I call the park itself to inquire about reserving specific sites, which I did, but no one answered so either they took the holiday off or everyone clocked out a few minutes early.

Yah. I think you can reserve certain sites. It sounds like that from the web. I don't think that will be an issue. I will be up there Thursday morning and most guys roll in on Thursday. Once people see a bunch of old ass BMWs they won't want to be in our area haha

And 23-30 seems to be the spots we do want for the 'good' hook ups. Not sure what I will do with power but I bet I will have 3G or 4G to share. Or can bring my CLEAR internet... hrmmm

Yep, I tried to make a reservation from the web just to see what it would do, and it gave me an error. That's what prompted me to call.

All we really need are a couple of guys to go up there and block the road to those sites. Job done.

I did that too last night! Will have to call on a day that is not a national holiday. I bet they pick up.

I tried to but it wouldn't let me specify the site to reserve. :(

I'm assuming you tried on the web Robert. I'd be happy to call the park, or you or Halston can - let me know.

I am going to do what ever I have to do to attend this! May is going to be busy for me between the BBQ/Parkway run in Asheville, Vintage, and now the Brodeo I am looking forward to May more than ever!! I am not sure which car I will be bringing but rest assured it will have a roundel!

I would do this over anything else ;)

So do we want to do the karting on Friday? I think we should personally to give us a little more variety. Could then get lunch somewhere else around my hood. Head back up and hit the fun roads. Hang at site. Saturday we can then spend driving around aimlessly in north Georgia.

This sounds like something I may be able to attend. Six gap is an awesome road, my dad rides it occasionally with his cycling group. There are plenty of other road scattered around up there that are worth driving on also. Hopefully the e30 will be back together by then.

The Brodeo is an absolute blast. Its always easy for people who've never attended one to blow it off but for most people, once they attend they are hooked.
