any r3v members going to sowo

I've always wanted to check out sowo so I'm thinking about going this coming year. I know I seen some e30 pics from last year, so who's going this year.
Fyi its a 16 hour drive for me haha, should be interesting if I make it.
    The show is May 17th-19th.

I will be there this year.

A few of my non-VAG friends went and said it was the best meet/show they'd ever been to.

I've gone up for at least one day over the last couple years, hopefully I can make it up for a whole weekend sometime.

I haven't personally had any friends go yet but, I hear/ read online that is awesome. I really want to drive down and see for myself.

Ive been going for the past two years. My first year I only went for the main event day. Last year I got a hotel room and everything. Getting the full experience and staying all 3 days is way more fun than just the main event. Im definitely going to the next one. I also got a spot on the big field too.
I don't even own this car anymore, but I'm too lazy to change the picture.

it's a good time if you're into the whole hotel party/car show/ricer burnout scene...

it has grown tremendously in the past couple years. it used to be a laid back good time.

2 years ago was enough for me, as the "how many beer cans can i prop my hood open with", engines revving and 5 foot burmouts did me in... i hear last year was worse.

It's still a good time, this will be my fourth year. You just have to stay away from certain places, like the Helendorf hotel parking lot. That's where it got stupid last year.

I drove my 135i last year and hopefully one of the e30s this year btw

I went last year. Well worth the 14 hour trip I thought.
I will be there again this year if all goes well with my build.
