    VOTE: 2013 Spring Brodeo Location

Getting mixed signals from the Brodeo regulars regarding the location of the spring Brodeo so I figured the best way to settle it is to let everyone vote on it.

If you have a better suggestion please throw it out there.

    1. Look Rock Campground (our historical stomping grounds)

    Pros:
    - Good Campsites
    - Very Close to the Tail of the Dragon
    - Federal Park (drinking is legal)

    Cons
    - Redundant (camped there this past fall)
    - No Showers

    2. Vogel State Park - North, GA

    Pros:
    - Nice Sites
    - Electric & Cell Service
    - Hot Showers
    - Blood Mountain

    Cons:
    - Same site as last spring rally
    - Cell Service (was a bit distracting)
    - State Park (Alcohol is not permitted.. but we got away with it last time)
    - Must Pay for parking pass
    - Sites are a little more expensive and if you don't reserve ahead you will not have one.

    Mtn. Pisgah - West NC

    Pros:
    - New Campsite
    - Blueridge Parkway
    - Federal (drinking permitted)
    - Pisgah Inn located directly across the road for those who would rather have more modern accomodations.

    Cons:
    - No Electric
    - No Showers
    - Never Been Before

Pisgah looks like a bit of a hike to get to the Dragon, though. I guess no further than Vogel, but it's worth mentioning.

Last Spring we didn't do The Dragon when we went to Vogel, and I doubt we'd do it if we went to Pisgah. We did go down to Andretti Karting though, which could be listed as a Pro for Vogel. That was a lot of fun.

FWIW, I like knowing we're doing Look Rock/The Dragon every Fall and going to new spots in the Spring. Pisgah is going to be a longer drive for me than the other spots, but looking at the map I suppose it's not a lot farther than Look Rock is for the SC crew...

I voted Pisgah because its a new location and I want to stay far away from Pappys back porch. How are the roads around Pisgah, was there a scouting trip?

Tristan brought up a good possible activity for Pisgah. 2hr drive to Spartanburg, NC to visit the BMW factory and take the tour.

I can check but Tristan mentioned they would only be able to do it on Friday.

One good feature of Pisgah is the state run restaurant next to the hotel. Good prices & food, 3 meals a day with a hell of a view. Every road that exits from BRP is a mini dragon, we have been on some awesome runs on both east and west sides.Musem sounds Awesome 2 me! I will hold out my vote for now and let yall call it. Besides I kinda liked Pappys' C*cks!

Vogel would be good and instead of going all the way to Andretti for carting, Atlanta Motorsport Park in Dawsonville is supposed to have a sweet carting track.
