Hey does anyone have a peak tool to reset the service lights? See you all Friday afternoon!

    Comment

"The service indicator lights are reset by connecting pin 7 to pin 19(ground). The proper way to do this is to have the ignition off and place a jumper wire between pins 7 and 19 (make sure you get the right pins!). Then turn the ignition switch to position 2 (run, NOT start), when the service light goes out, turn the ignition off. This should take a few seconds for an oil reset, 8-10 seconds for an inspection reset. All green lights should come on when the service light goes out. The difference between resetting the oil service light and the inspection light is in the length of time you have the jumper in place with the ignition on. This means that if you are resetting the oil service light, you should turn off the ignition immediately after the light goes out. If you leave the jumper in too long with the ignition on, you will perform an inspection reset as well and the next service indicator will come up as an oil service rather than an inspection."

Trucks everyday, 9 outa 10 will have a bike escorting thru so no more bikers are rolled over in a corner. The leader needs 2 watch for a bike waving like below and if you see the helmet tap that is universal for Police ahead! Somehow this guy got in between 2 18wheelers, another behind him

Some photos are up on the sites already.

us129photos.com has Saturday pics in the "BMW's" album, starting on page 23 (@4:20pm). Sunday pics haven't been posted yet.

129slayer.com has pics of the group going down the Dragon today. Filter by 11:15-11:30 to narrow down the results to only them. Their Saturday pics end at 4:11pm, which was before we were on it IIRC.

Killboy pics from Saturday and Sunday haven't been posted yet.

It was great to see all the familiar faces and to put names to the new ones. My wife thinks the trophy is great, and it's sitting on the mantle over the fireplace as promised. I'll snap a pic of it when it's daylight.

Drove to atl 2 weeks ago, then up to D.C. on my way back from D.C. stopped for one night up at the dragon. Then drove the dragon and back to Atl. Heading back to nola today. 3000 mile roadtrip in my e30. :)
