There is the possibility a 6 week continuing resolution will be signed this weekend, after than I will file a dispute with Paypal to get the $209 reservation deposit back and see if I can get back in touch with Fontana since they are privately owned.

The end of the season for Smokies campgrounds is the end of October. Might not re-open for such a short term.

We should figure a plan B just in case..

I'd hope they would take the fact that it's a group site into consideration, and that planning a group trip isn't exactly something that happens spur of the moment.

That said, it wouldn't hurt to have a backup plan.
