    Deep Creek Group Campground
    Bryson City, NC

    What is it?

    A gathering of the finest BMW enthusiasts here in the southeastern Appalachian region.

    Why?

    Drive, Eat, Drink, Burn Wood, and then maybe sleep before doing it all again.

    Itenerary



    TBD.. ongoing discussion of giving the scavenger hunt a real go this time.

    Oct. 22nd (Early Birds & OGs)

    - General Relaxation time before the initial group gathering.

    Oct. 23rd (Thursday)
    - Setup Camp & Get Acquainted
    - Small Group Drives
    - Campfire Shenanigans

    Oct. 24th (Friday)
    - Try again to do a scavenger hunt?
    - Small Group Drives
    - Campfire Shenanigans
    Oct. 25th (Saturday)
    - Main Large Group Drive
    - Small Group Drives
    - Campfire Shenanigans

    Oct. 26th (Sunday)
    - Camp Packup / Clean Up
    - Group Breakfast & Award Ceremony


    Campground Facility Info:

    We're here to help you dream up your next trip, figure out the details, and reserve experiences at over 3,600 facilities and 103,000 individual sites across the country.


    - Bathrooms
    - No Electric
    - Black Bear Country (pack your food safely)

    What to Bring

    - Food & Drinks
    - Firewood (check restrictions due to pest controls)
    - Warm Clothes (night temps can still be cold)
    - Tent & Sleeping Bag
    - Flashlight
    - Chair
    - License, Registration, and Proof of Insurance
    - Plenty of Gas Money
    - Box of Metric Wrenches


    Sign Up Info

    We will need to reserve 2 group campsites next to each other beforehand. To do so we need to collect $20 per person to register for the event. This covers your campsite for the entire camp out and firewood.

    We encourage you to also confirm through Facebook using the link at the top of this post, but if you don't have Facebook then just post here in the thread and we will do our best to keep track.

    If you don't have Facebook just post up here.

    Since a few of use brew free beer for the group its good to know a solid number.

                          I will try to catch it next year, my car may need more than some mm wrenches lol. I have a lot of work to do on it before I drive in a group and get silly lol.
