Cliff Notes:
-2.7i : 87' ETA short-block, 885 325i Head
--All gone through, new gaskets and seals etc etc
--New water pump, timing belt, tensioners, etc
-Tranny: Getrag 260 needs help. Runs smooth, shifts good, leaking a little, damaged bellhousing does not effect it mechanically nor is the cause of the leak.
--I believe its a 2.96 LSD, I know its high 2's and i know for a fact its LSD. the tag on mine doesn't mean anything as the diff cover is not original to it.
-Exhaust: Complete Crap. I had a nice exhaust for it, someone stole it, so i'm stuck with the 318's exhaust... probably would notice a power difference with a stock exhaust off of a 325i or e.
-Brand new Fuel system; Gas tank, in-tank pump, external pump.
-Fuel Injectors: yellow top bosch mustang GT injectors. I ran the part numbers and i think it said they were 18lb? might have been 19lb, it was like 3 or 4 years ago that i did it.
-I've never opened the ECU up to see, it might have a chip in it. unless i've mistaken i think it revs to 7k and i know i had the car up to 135 once, which i'm pretty sure is more than the ECU allows for stock.... IDK.
-Running Great.
-- asking $1500 OBO EDIT: $1250 OBO; Will trade for an M5x Swap for my new e30. Depending on what you got, i may do a straight trade, if you only have an m50 and nothing else, i'll need some cash on top. I am negotiable. I'm trying to sell it to buy my buddies M52 complete swap.

Exterior: Crap, originally was a 318i (m10).
The car has never been in a serious accident, the reason the bumper looks like that is i hit an oil slick or something and spun out on the freeway and amazingly just brushed up against a concrete barrier. I got lucky. There is some rust in the trunk area, I have circled that rust in the pictures. It needs a paint job, for sure.
The Interior isn't great either, but its livable. The driver seat has a large tear across the bottom of it and most of the foam wore out of the tear so i stuffed it with some memory foam and put a seat cover i had laying around on it so it would at least be comfortable, the rest of the seats are fine really. The mechanics of them are a little iffy, like most e30s i've been in.
What you are getting here is a wonderful drivetrain.
When the car was built this is what all we did:
ETA from my 1987 325 that was totaled.
885 (325i) cylinder head, i believe it had new valve guides and valve stem seals, but i'd have to double check that with the guy i got it from, it was very clean.
Complete motronic 1.3 (The i Conversion) done.
Homemade (its not the prettiest but it works) Round C101 to Square C101 harness converter. If it really bothers you and will make the sale, I will re-build this item to look more factory installed, but you must pay asking price for me to do this.
Brand new Head Gasket
I think they are called Blue demon or blue something head bolts, they are reusable and hex head.
new water pump
new timing belt and tensioner
All gaskets replaced.
valve adjustment done.
325i Alternator
Needs a new battery. She will work everyday if you drive it everyday, but if it sits over the weekend, she'll need a jump. Battery is crap. Good crap though, its an interstate battery.
Brand New (been in it for 2 months) Gas tank, as old tank was rusted to hell and back.
Brand New external fuel pump (done same time)
and almost new in tank pump.
Tranny.... welll... about that. She works. no grinds, shifts good but a couple issues. If i were keeping this car i would replace it, but it leaks a little bit, i'm pretty sure its the rear main seal, which i have one, just haven't put it on yet.
The car this tranny came out of had a pressure plate destroy it self and it chewed up the bell housing, cut a couple gashes in it. This does not effect it mechanically, in fact i've been running this tranny for 4 years now with out issue.
The exhaust sucks. no really it sucks.
The Diff is a 2.91? i think? i know its high 2's and it IS Limited Slip. Came out of an ES i believe.
Suspension: New Control Arms about a year ago
BOGE Turbo front struts when car was assembled
NOS (New old Stock) OEM 87' 325is Bilstein Shocks on the rear
Factory springs.
Basically the only thing driveline wise that i never got around to taking off my old e30 was the rear trailing arms and doing the rear disc conversion. This car has rear drums and since i always planned on swapping my rear discs over to it and the drums were shot, i blocked it off at the master cylinder. Car stops fine, but it should be addressed.
The A/C will work if someone wants to take the time to hook it all up and charge it. I'd recommend the usual receiver drier and exapansion valve replacement along with new o-rings. The Compressor worked when it came out of my old car, blew ice cold air with r134a in it.
If i forgot anything i'm sorry, just ask. The pictures don't do this car any justice, going for a test drive does however. She drives much better than she looks.
EDIT: I did forget to say that the car will not come with the wheels bolted to the rear. I will sell the full set to you for 200 dollars with used tires. However, the tires that are on them you'll need spacers to run them up front, as they rub. Offset is too high. They are pretty nice wheels, too bad i lost the center caps years ago. They are 16x7 i think. might be 8's but i doubt it.
Also, it will not come with the Alpine Head Unit or speakers, unless you wanna pay extra.
I also would be willing to trade for a complete m5x swap for an e30. if you don't have it complete, trade plus cash? we can work something out. Remember price is OBO so make some offers. I live in Ooltewah.
