Im up here in New Hampshire, would have to make this a 3day shindig to make it worth while.

-Camping/hotels would be necessary for me.

This would be one hell of a drive for me.

As for the dragon, Im down. It would be like a vacation,
However the crowd would have to be very mature to drive on a road like that!!

Id say the Blue ridge parkway pay provide the minimal fun but its hard to blast down it because of the occasional biker or random 75 year old in an oldmosbile

so are we gonna split the east coast and do it in VA somewhere. I may not have an e30 by the time of the meet but I will gladly help arrange things for those coming from large distances.

I'm in upstate NY. I could have a bunch of the NE guys meet up with me and we drive down together.

I'm in, my 335 will be completely done by then, VA sounds great to me! Cincinatti doesn't bother me either, but VA perferred

                      What is VIR?

While I wait for the answer, how about this proposal.

First weekend in June, including that Friday, we Meet in Spartanburg. http://www.spartanburg.worldweb.com/

Tour the BMW facility and Museum, http://www.bmwusfactory.com/

                      do a Rally drive, http://www.bmwusfactory.com/communit...es/default.asp

                      hotels, http://www.spartanburghotels.worldweb.com/index.htm

                      or camp, http://www.southcarolinaparks.com/pa...3/camping.aspx

Add to this a Saturday night party and after the Rallye a swap meet.

I will see if BMW wants to host a Friday meet and greet.

                      Just throwing it out there.

That's South Carolina... one hell of a drive for ALOT of northeasters. Sounds like alot of fun but is it worth the drive for 1 weekend? The tour of the factory sounds tits tho...

                          I Agree!

SC would be a haul. I would rather have more people show than pick a spot that excludes. For me VA is easy because of the train. But, I am open. So would you think the NY guys could def do a VA trip?

Are you guys talking about doing a trackday at VIR or just watching an event? If its a trackday, I can't see many people from out of town tracking their 20yr old cars and then being able to drive it back home.

I think we're getting a little ambitious with a track day @ VIR, etc.

Let's keep it simple, Western North Carolina/Tennesse has a lot to offer as far as good driving and it's relatively central. The Dragon being included.

I didnt mean a track day or event. I just thought there may be something there that would be of intrest around that time that would be worth going to watch/hangout/drive because its not that far from the places I was hoping to drive in my part(the best part) for driving
