Dragon/Skyway Drive June 16th

I know we used to do these more often, anyone that wants to come is welcome.

What: Smoky Mtn Chapter BMWCCA Drive

Where: Meet in the Kroger Parking lot
9501 S Northshore Dr
Knoxville, TN 37922
Meet at 9:00 AM

From Kroger we will take I-140 (Pellissippi Pkwy) to Alcoa Hwy.
We will go through Maryville and continue on HWY 411 to Vonore, TN
In Vonore we will branch off to HWY 360
That connects to the Cherohala Skyway which we will follow all the way to
the Dragon (HWY 129)
After the Dragon we will head back and take Foothills Pkwy (more great
roads and views)
When the drive is finished we will head back to my house and food will be
provided by the club

We will pass back by Kroger on the way to my house so if anyone would like to pick up additional food or drinks you're welcome to.

A big group from Chattanooga will be joining us soit should be a lot of fun. Please RSVP to me (post in this thread) so I know how much food to get. Thanks!

The skyway is a great road, long sweepers. The rest are just the roads you have to take to get there. I was just letting everyone know the route. Some of the best in east TN.

Great roads out there, but you have to watch out for the tourists, and the speed limits. They aren't very forgiving.

I am from chattanoga but also have a place in townsend that I am currently living at since my dog is undergoing cancer treatments at UTK. I have just picked up an e30 that unfortunately will not be ready for this drive but I may show up at Kroger to meet some of you guys instead. I just do not see anyway to have the car finished before then. As there is a huge list of things to get done once all of the parts come in for it.

i live on 129 and there is a easier and faster way to get to the dragon all u do is turn left at the 411 and 129 junction and its easier to meet on alcoa hwy, if u would like i could meet u guys some where and u could follow me up there
