Spring 2008 - Smoky Mountain BMW Rally - May 15th-18th

First thing I did was jump in the shower and wash off the camping funk.

Got some good pictures, I'll try to get them posted up soon.

Looking at 2 different possible locations for the next rally so we can avoid all the cops and motorcycle traffic. Right now I'm looking into HWY 421/221 around Shady Valley, TN or HWY 116 at Frozen Head State Park around Oliver Springs, TN.

It was great fun, and nice to meet some of you guys. I think that Robert and I are gonna check out 116 in the next week or so, less cops FTMFW!! We will get some pics to share.

Had a ball guys! One of the highlights for me was waking up to bright sunshine Saturday morning after two days of living in the &%$# clouds.
I kinda mapped out the Devil's Triangle (116) thing at one point. Frozen Head (think that was it) looked like a good base camp. There's a little campground on the SW side.
Then again 421 on the map looks like spaghetti without the sauce.

Bottom line ... It ain't where you go, it's the goin that counts.

To be honest I enjoy the camping and shooting the shit with friends more than the driving as I simply am up there to cruise :)
