                    Does everyone want to do an early August gathering and a fall mid October gathering?

                    You guys must be some real gas sluts.

                    I might be able to do a weekend gathering back at Look Rock but I don't think you can camp out on Clingman's Dome.

                    It was so hot last year at the first rally that everyone was like "we should do this shit earlier in the summer to avoid the heat and these bees 'n shit" and that's why we had it in May.

                    Right now I'm trying to plan the fall rally depending on whether people would rather run 421/321 around Shady Valley, TN (AKA.. Snake Run) or camp at Frozen Head State park and run 116 around Oliver Springs, TN. Blueridge Pkwy might be another option in NC as well though I might be able to score free private group campgrounds around HWY 116.

                    I'll gather the data this weekend and post a vote thread so we can decide.

                                        Summer camping would be a Balsam Mtn Campground, elev over 5000 feet.. Just a few miles out of Cherokee where we had some one do a spark plug change on this last run..

                                        It would be a good climate up there for summer use I bet.. Here is a good bit of info on it..
