EuroTreffen April 25th Bradenton, FL

he 2nd annual event will be held:
Friday Night April 25th, 2008 at Bradenton Motorsports Park drag strip in Bradenton, FLfrom 6pm - Midnight!

This first annual Euro Treffen is a gathering of fellow European enthusiasts for not only local enthusiasts but for all those willing to make the trek down to sunny and warm Florida. The show is not only a GTG but also a track event where anyone can make runs down the drag strip for an additional fee. The GTG portion of the show will have room for 1000+ cars to be displayed. The drag strip will be available from 6pm - 11pm for as many runs as you want to get in!!

We are currently expecting 500+ cars and hope that this number may reach 600+. The show will be held at a familiar location for those of you who frequent the only 1/4 mile drag strip in the Gulf Coast area, Bradenton Motorsports Park.

• The price of the event is $10 admission for each person. (Children 11 and under are FREE)
  
  
• Drag racing tech cards are only $10 more to race ALL night long.
  
  
• Event T-shirts will be on sale so have cash on hand.
• Event T-shirts will be available BEFORE the event. Keep an eye on this site for the final design and ordering information.
• Head to Head Races @ TBA
  
  
• Campers are Welcome to stay overnight at the drag strip grounds. However you must be up and gone by 8am.
  
  
• Pets are welcome as long as they are on a leash.

Hey we gotta have our own some what larger BMW meets on the right coast every once in a while.

BTW: Does anyone remember Summerblaze in Orlando a few years back? CFBMW.com organized it and it was a great meet. I guess they haven't been able to come up with a good location for that many cars since then so it hasn't happened. We need to start something like that up again. It was a day long turning into night long event.

Summerblaze existed way before CFBMW and FloridaGerman :) I was one of the originators, probably back in 2002 or 2003 (I forget).

Haha I remember when we first posted up the idea. Then I believe after a while Kevin (I think that was his name... with the dakar e36) took it into his own hands.
