Balsam Mountain recon for a summer Rally

This is in the Cherokee N.C. area. Lots and Lots of mtn roads to play on..
    Changed to July 12th

We should do this exploratory run up to Balsam Mountain campground and check things out.. Driving up from Chattanooga I will likely stay for a night at the campground as to have time to explore the local roads and such.
Stay the night and return towards home Sunday.

I need some of you regular organizers along to finish up later..

So who is in for a one night mini rally?

And put in your preferred date.. It's up for a vote.

I'm in but it'll have to be the 21st; got company coming the 28th.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, if you do criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It takes hundreds of nuts to hold a car together,
but it takes only one of them to scatter it all over the highway.

I have a conflict on Saturday the 21st, but could come up for a drive on Sunday the 22nd. ( If I still have a drivers license.) I got a ticket in the Georgia mountains yesterday; 67 in a 45 zone. I'm not a lucky as some people we know!

Maybe you weren't holding your mouth right.

            Hope you can make it.

This one had a charisma bypass. He didn't understand what I didn't know.

I think that's an occupational requirement. Every now and then one slips through but the majority in that profession have had it surgically removed.

Where did they get you (besides the derrière)?

Got me on Ga. 60 between Copperhill TN and Suches GA. Nice drive, good twisties, and lots of murdercycles.

As much as I would love to make another run that soon. Looks like I'll be starting chemo soon but I plan no making the October rally for sure.

I've been looking forward to this, so, I think I am going up the 11th ( Friday) just for the extra night of camping.

Any that want to are welcome to come up when ever..

I'll probably drive up saturday morning, but will have to head back home in the afternoon. Where are you going to camp friday night?
