Use the E36 tie rods and that should fix your problem.

I have brand new e30 rods and car was aligned. I'd rather get new wheels, hehe.

I also had e30 and e36 rods side by side, they seem to be exactly the same, which confuses me, wondering what I did wrong.

If anyone is in that area, I'd send money to pick them up. It's not too far from where we're camping either.

They are not the same at all. The E30 tie rods are much more straight than the E36 tie rods.

If you still need someone to pick them up for you let me know.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, if you do criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

It takes hundreds of nuts to hold a car together,
but it takes only one of them to scatter it all over the highway.

They are the same thickness but IIRC something to due with how the E36 tie rods are keeps them from rubbing the bigger wheels.

yeah, I had car jacked up today to see if I screwed up, and everything sits solid. Bigger wheels will fix this tiny issue. Also since I've been running e36 bottle caps with e36 tires, I'm having a little bit for a rub on the inside, that will be taken care of very shortly as well.

If you could, I'd love to have those wheels. I'd paypal money to get those.

Stevie30, I missed you at the VaV! Looked, but did not find, but I did see your car. The new interiour gave a seizure, btw
