slightly off-topic, but does anyone have a place to get a vehicle that might be willing to overlook a few small things? Trying to get my e30 registered and new plates before I drive it back to California for Christmas.

Items that don't presently work:
Front turn signals (not wired)
Back-up lights
Horn (Not in the car)

Other than that, pretty much everything else is good to go. I have a track pipe in the car right now but have no problem reinstalling the cat. Have cash in hand and need to get this knocked out sometime in the evening this week or weekend so I can go for plates next week. Any help greatly appreciated!!

One of my good friends Tom Vetter is dying of cancer. He is working at Clearlake VW and has for the last 5 years he was also my room mate for 3 years. He is 52 years old. He works out 5 times a week, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke. And He has 10-18 months to live. 2 years if he stays on hormone treatment which he only just started and the side effects have been pretty intense.

What i would like to do is have this show, VW is donating some goodies for a silent auction. And VWs Certified preowned national rep is looking in to donating a car for auction or raffle. All proceeds will go to Tom to afford him the ability to truly enjoy what time he has left. The less stresss he has the longer he will be with us. My plan is to possibly continue this show in the future and the proceeds will go to MD Anderson on his behalf. Whether he still be with us or not.

Any help would be appreciated. I have no clue what im doing here.

Joes BBQ in Alvin will be providing the food and all the proceeds from the BBQ sales will also go to Tom.
