Hey guys, I moved to Austin back in November. Should have posted up in here sooner, but I am just now getting some of my free time back. Hopefully I can make it to some of the meets you all have. Where I came from I had the only e30 so it would be cool to meet up with some of you all at some point.Comment

What do you drive? Post up some pics if you can. We've been slacking on getting together recently, but I know we can make something happen

I have a 1991 318is. It's rough and still needs a lot of work, but slowly I keep making it a little better. It was easier when I was working for BMW and getting parts at cost, but now I have to pay close to full price so it might take longer than expected to get it how I want. Anyways here's a couple pics

Damn it I don't think I would be able to make it Sunday morning. I will be doing some work to a friends car. I was on the train this evening going north and overheard someone say they was the proud owner of a 1990 BMW convertible. Is that anyone here?Comment

^ That's the EXACT car I was looking for when I was shopping for an e30. Color and everything. I love it.

I got this 318is (in front) in October.

I'm planning on doing the SASCA autocross in San Antonio this Sunday. I'll be working all day Saturday to drop my gas tank and put a new one in. I want to see more e30's out there!

I've seen an e30 around Cesar Chavez a couple times with stickers all over their roof-rack wind deflector. I think the car is silver or white. Is that a R3V member?Comment

They're Ronal Turbo Phase 2s. They don't come up for sale very often, but if you like the look you could find a set of Ronal R10s a lot easier. I think they're a bit heavier, though.

There are also some other wheels with the same "turbo" style. Avid 1 makes one.Comment

Aren't those discontinued? I was going to pick up a set of those Ronal's but they're not on their website anymore.

Yeah, the wheels I've got have been out of production for a while. I don't know if they still make the R10s or not (they're on the website) but I've seen them come up for sale used much more frequently than the original Phase 1 or Phase 2 Turbos.Comment

Paul I might. I made the mistake of picking up that blue turbo coupe off cl. Its a basket case but it does come with alot of parts. Speaking of crank sensors. You dont have the ones off of that e motor do you?
