Welcome, I usually keep my eye out for local BMWCCA events and try to go to C&C which is at La Encatada on the second Saturday of each month. If you haven't seen the "new" BMW Tucson, you should check it out. A really nice shop.
Here's more info on my car, although it's not for sale. I sold it to a guy who basically stored it for 2 years and then bought it back.

I was just driving through downtown at like 5mph in first and heard a loud bang and some really bad grinding noises. Car was shanking pretty bad, limped it to my GF's house. After getting it towed home, I found that luckily, the trans ok. Blew up my LSD and I also now have a bad rear wheel bearing. Had a spare 3.73 open diff laying around, so I slapped it in tonight. Waiting for the bearing to get in.
And no swap for me, Just acquired a spare M20 for $150 that's getting rebuilt for boost. :up:Leave a comment:

I have a huge issue, hopefully you guys can help. I originally posted this on AZBMW
So the long and short of it is I was living with my girlfriend in Tucson. The house is owned by her mom and her mom pays the bills, but her mom said that this was okay. It was later changed to being a temporary situation until I got a job and could afford my own place. I am scheduled to start work next week, and her mom decided she wanted me out last night. My only other option is to stay in Glendale, which as you know is a good 2 hours away from where I'm supposed to work.
I know I'm not well known here yet, and that this is a big favor to ask of what are essentially total strangers, but if anyone could give me a place to crash for a little while while I start work and find an apartment, it would mean the world to me. I moved out to Arizona to get a new start, and for a little while it was looking like I was going to get one, but then this happened. I will gladly pay rent when I can, or maintain the house/apartment/your cars.
Giantkeeper knows me, not super well, but he knows me and I'm sure he can tell you that I am a cool person.
This is not something I would normally do, but at this point I am desperate and don't want to lose my job.
Thank you for reading this, and thank you to anyone who can possibly offer me any solutions.Leave a comment:
