    redrill in houston

    Want to get some style 5's redrilled. Anyone know of a good place to get these done?

      There is Baker Blackie, but I got a quote of $150 per wheel to fill (which they contract out) and re-drill. It's a little too pricey for me, but I may end up doing it since I hear they do good work.

      There is also Aztec Machine Shop. I only know about them searching for other companies in Houston. I have never dealt with them or know anyone who has.

      Or you could always ship them out to like VR Wheels in Cali. vrwheels.com

      Let us know what you decide and give us your experience. I'm kind of focusing more attention to my MKIII Jetta right now, so I'm not in a rush to jump the gun on the fill and redrill on my RSs for the e30.

          For $150 a wheel I would just drop $300 on adapters. You pick your offset and the wheel can still be sold as original.

              I agree, but the setup I have has a positive offset of 11 so after adding the minimum adapter of 15mm, I would be at negative 4. No thanks. :)

              I may just sell my set and get something that's easier to work with. :(

                  Aztec machine shop qouted me 200 for the set and they said they have a different way of doing redrills. i know that they dont fill them up. Might take one and see how it turns out.

                              Let me know how that works out. They may drill and sleeve rather than filling the old holes. If you're happy with the results then I may be in the market for some style 5s.
