Coming to Dallas

Wife will be moving in at the start of Jan, and I will be right after her at the end of January. Hopefully I will meet some folks, and get to hang out/work on cars since I will now be without a shop/garage.

What is the big car stuff to do in Dallas? Local meet-ups?

Cars and coffe is this really huge thing in north dallas at Classic BMW every other Sunday. You shouldn't miss it. All types of cool stuff. 40's 60's 80's muscles and such.

The car scene is much more conservative and clean down here. Which I like. A LOT

As far as a "car scene," people in the Dallas have lives. So basically there's only Cars & Coffee once a month and another meet occasionally up in Frisco on Monday nights. Not a whole lot going on here unless you want to hang with a bunch of teeny-bop ricers in Arlington.

I'd like to get a monthly thing going with guys from here and bimmerforums maybe, on a Saturday afternoon, we were doing that when I lived in KC and it was great. I got 3 kids in school and sports, and I own an E30, so I don't have allot of free time lol.

I been to the Cars and Coffee few times. it's in Plano in a nice area. lot of rich folks with lot of nice cars. Few E30s and 2002s though. I would be down for a e30 dallas group. Recently moved here from Philly.

I'd like to something more centrally located than Plano and McKinney. Everything here is a drive but Plano is about forty miles from my house an McKinney is even further.

I have a thousand sq-ft shop in north Fort Worth.

I am in Las Colinas, could setup something around here. E46 and New E30 owner. We tried to setup an e46fanatics group with events but it was difficult.

I should be out there at some point.. What time typically could I show up and not be stuck in the lot till it ends. I've been to ones in CA and you're stuck there for a while b/c of how many cars show up...
