Where to Redrill Wheels in TX

    Hey everyone!

I am looking to buying some style 5 for my 4 lug e30. Now the question is, there is a couple of styles 5 rims, so basically which ones do I buy and secondly, where to get them re-drilled if possible?.

    Thanks,
    Bimmer

this thread is from page 2 of this forum section. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=264021

the 16" wheels are more plain but look good. the 17 and 18 inch wheels are three piece and in my opinion look better. the 18s are too big for an e30 and look gay on that car.

if you want to know where to get wheels redrilled in tx, just read down a couple pages in this (southwest) section.

I already purchased a set from ebay for 300 with tires shipped, because the ones I found locally were too expensive. They are 16x8 from an e38 which is fine for me. I still have the BBS RM, so I will be swapping them back and forth. just wanted something bigger, while I recondition the BBS RM. I plan on doing a complete overhaul on them. I want to fill them in, then re-drill them.

Wow how dumb am I, I am the one that started the last one. Way too many projects drives me crazy. Sorry for the repost!

i had them do my style 5's. they charged me 200 for all 4 and had them done in an hour.
they were not filled, just redrilled. They used some rings for the bolts to sit evenly and provide more strenght...you can see them in the pics of the link posted. kinda sketchy but no fucks were given i ran them like that. had the wheels for a little more than a year never had any problems with the wheels. no cracks, no vibrations or any abnormal stuff.

Any welder can fill them. Maybe a machine shop. If they don't have a spool gun then it will probably cost too much.
