My brothers and I usually get our families together and go out for a Christmas dinner instead of buying gifts for each other, since as our families grow, buying gifts for everybody would make us all broke. This year, however, one of my brothers and his wife are in Waco Texas for her job for 6 months, while the rest of us are in upstate New York. This year we decided to do a secret santa gift exchange because of the distance, with the stipulation that it has to be consumable, since my brother and his wife don't want to acquire more items to have to move back in a few months. Rather than mailing wine/beer/frozen foods, I was thinking I would get them gift certificates or tickets to a restaurant, venue, or event near them. They are living in Waco Texas, but anything in the surrounding areas would be acceptable.
