Help? 1988 325i conv in TX. Dead engine need advice on swap

Hello, I am looking for an affordable engine solution for a 1988 325i convertible. Looking for reliability and affordability, car would be a daily driver.

Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
I am especially looking for anyone in texas nearby that has an e30 as well.

    Thanks!!!!

here is another good possibility as long as it doesn't need a head gasket. imo, if that really needs changing this guy is selling a paper weight.
