I almost felt bad about bringing out my beater Zinno car until I saw Brandondans R3v'd front end and spare bottlecap and the new guys baller Craigslist Eta . :p

There was also an E36 M3 and a Z3 Mcoupe for a little bit until the E30's devoured them . :D

I think we had 75% of e30 enthusiasts from DFW in one spot... not bad.

I will most definitely make it out to the next meet, the Papa's BBQ meets are once a month.

FYI next time, If we went to Strikz in Frisco I would host an after party less than 2 miles away at my crib :) I would solicit all your asses for free E30 labor.

what we really need is for someone with the time and energy to compile a mailing list of all our current active DFW E30'ers, i.e. everyone submit your e-mail to gringo or whoever wants to take initiative, so that after we arrange this meet & greet, we can just have that mailing list established for times like this, and once we decide what the monthly or whatever event is, we can just send out a mass email. By the way, Strikes in Frisco has bowling and pool and what have you, and once a month they have a little "car show", nothing huge, but it's a free event to go look at old cars from 60's vettes to 1st gen 300zx's. Everyone kind of just hangs out in the parkinglot with lawn chairs, they hand out awards or something... we'd need to contact them but maybe someone who has a much nicer E30 than me could enter and everyone else could come hang out and show support some time.

Anyways, I voted lake. Once we get this cassual one out we can attempt bigger and better things, like the little car show at Strikes. I'm sure plenty of us will be doing HIN just to go see girls and maybe a few cars that don't suck. I have a free ticket already plus I am a sucker for plastic snap shut bags full of pamplets and goodies from car shows hahaha.

yeah i'll be at werk too, gotta make gas some money to make it out to da hood tomorrow so I could get some mad tite upgradez for my volvonator.

i'm using Mike's car pricing strategies now. Bought it for $2k with 192k and after:

1. Oil Change - $25
2. Headlight lens - $20
3. Sun visor - $5
4. Glove box locking mechanism - $10

with all that stuff @198k its now worth $5000 w/out a wash, $5200 with a wash. At this point I came to conclusion that I will just store it later on and never sell it.
