Mineral Wells Drift Event Jan 25th 2009

    Posted from our site: http://www.austintuners.com/forums/d...?g=posts&t=291

We have a few people on our forum that go to this event so I thought I would spread the word.

Welcome to the 2009 Fabricated Motorsports drift season. This year we are going to put on our series in conjunction with many other organizations, and come together in a series finale at Gateway Raceway in St. Louis. More info will be released about that later. We will be selling season tickets for $220, which will get you into all 12 mineral wells events this year. 40 bucks gets you in at the gate if you want to pay one at a time.

Drivers meeting is at 9:45-10ish. Track goes hot around 10:15. We shut down about an hour or so before dark so we have time to pickup in the light and leave. If you need directions out there, maps.google.com mineral wells, tx airport. Click on satellite view and you can clearly see our marks in our drift lot. The venue is very easy to find. Even from places in San Antonio, its like 4 turns total from starting on HWY 281.

If you have any questions you can contact Aaron through pm on fabricatedmotorsports.com

couldn't tell ya man, a few of our new members do this all the time but they use swapped drift spec'd 240's and such. from the videos they showed most of the other cars are just about the same. would be pretty cool to check out anyway, this will be my first time going.

Guy on right looks like Gunther.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

All drivers are required to wear a jacket and tie regardless of gender.

...Although I did say that a tie was required. And in the world of fashion a shirt with a collar will be necessary
