I just came back from a nice little road-trip through much of Morris county, taking in the sights with the wife in the 318 with some Mini Coopers. Found some great driving roads and scenic spots!

That was my "excuse" for not swinging by today.

In other news - you know those nifty VAC baffles for the oil pan? I have one here. Don't get one - I'm returning mine, it's so badly built. Details to follow.

what engine management are you planning to run? what are you doing about the twin dry sumps?

Oh I'm not actually using an S54 in an E30: the S52 is already financial nonsense with M Coupes at the 13k mark. I know where to get one, but I'm replacing my S50 with an S52 and I'm sort of running out of reasons not to replace the whole thing permanently with a 964. It'll cost less.
