Is it just me, but everytime I'm driving my e30 in the tri-state area at highway speeds, 65-80mph....there's always someone in a newer car (Camry/Accord/SUV) tailgating me. This never ever happens in the 135i or my Jeep, just the e30. I'm also certainly not a left-lane hog either....always pass left, stay right...

Do people think the car is junk therefore, they feel the need to pass us?

Same. Most recently, I had some guy in a cobalt try really hard to get in my trunk.

i had Caravan do it to me a few weeks back.... So I got next to the SLOWEST moving 18-wheeler going about 30 and slowed down to his speed blocking both lanes. Caravan flipped out kept flashing brights, honking and going ape shit. As soon as he tried to pass me, I'd speed up. After a few minutes, I opened my sunroof and shared Wendy's Frosty with his windshield (it cought rear part of my roof rack and bounced higher), sped off to my exit, and made my get-away.

I recommend all of you guys to do it. That splash is the most satisfying sight in the world and will most definitely make your week.

I'll just downshift until I'm doing 25 and they're sitting behind me, then get on it when they try and pass.

Tailgating is really annoying, but nothing is worse than the twatwaffles who leave their high beams on all the time.
