On an off note... What route do you ussually go to get past the city? When driving back and forth to FL and all points south i've always taken the SS to the Belt and the Verrazano and then drivin through Staten to the OBC. I did that same route when i pick up my car from Rob last month and it wasn't as bad as i remember (potholes and draw bridges on 440, 278 and the belt). Just wanted to see what lowered friendly routes you guys use to get around nyc since the car is little lower than when i picked her up

last year we cut through the city to avoid the tolls on the way there, then i took the holland back.
