I thought it was my pump so I changed it out and still nothing. CPS sensor the whole time. I have a good used fuel pump fs if that turns out to be the problem

The car cranks fine and i had one of the autozone guys come with a battery booster just to make sure and the battery is fine also. Its either the fuel pump or ignition coils not giving enough spark.

Bang the fuel pump with your fist. It works sometimes.

starter clicking indicates a dead battery.

fuel pump is under the passenger rear, yeah. if it's an early model there will also be a secondary in line pump.

Sorry to hear this.. Make sure you check the relays first.
Main relay and Fuel pump relay if those are fine check the correct readings on CPS.

I believe I have a spare coil pack for 318is and those relays.
You can have it for a test, let me know.
