Friends parts stolen from his home!
My buddy had listed several parts on craigslist for sale a few days ago.
Someone contacted him looking for E30 rear end bits (trailing arms, diff etc.)
The kid purchased a trailing arm from my friend on Monday, mentioned that he can't find any parts and needs help. The kid called him back Monday, the same night after picking up the trailing arm asking if he'd sell the rest of the parts. My buddy told him the rest was not for sale.
So, this kid came back to his house the following night (Tuesday) with his jack ass friends and stole the whole lot... M3 driveshaft, Ti trailing arms, subframe and differential. The whole deal was assembled and ready to be dropped in.
The kid owns a silver 1998 Z3, drivers side quarter panel has damage and possibly passenger side and possibly a bent shock. Young kid in his early 20s, maybe younger about 5'8", dark skin. Picked up part Monday in a silver Nissan Altima (2012?).
The kids number is 917 587 7754, his name may be Sharmin Kawahar. My buddy is going to verify this tonight hopefully.
Any leads would be great OR if you may potentially know him that would go a long way too. My buddy is not the violent type, all he wants is his parts back. He's been trying to build his swapped E30 vert for the past 2-3 yrs now.

My friend has already contacted local authorities and all they've done is take down a report.
