    Engine block O-ringing in NJ

    anyone know of a place that does this? my local machine shop only does headwork

    Isky o-ring tool.

    It ain't as bad as you think to do it yourself.

      I've looked into it, and while it costs $315, I'd rather pay ~$350 to get it done right

        Though perhaps if I can borrow the tool from someone here/locally, that would be grand.

          If you call Isky they rent the tool for around $50-60 IIRC (with deposit of course).

            $350 is an overkill quote lol
            And yeah, I didn't think of that but you can also rent as mentioned.

              I got a 885 head fully rebuilt for way less at a machine shop. Maybe Honing , decking then o-ring for 250/300 tops

                  Theres one in Vineland nj i deal with alot, RAZ performance machine.. As long as you tell him you need the parts asap hes pretty good with getting them out quick
