Saratoga Auto Museum

Since I can't go to BMW Vintage, I visited Saratoga Springs yesterday. Here's a preview of what you'll find at the Auto Museum. No E30's, but plenty of cool stuff nonetheless - definitely worth the price of admission. The 2002tii was my fave.

Was there twice already this year, last attended the Hemmings sport and exotic show with my 95 e36 cabrio, will definitely be there on Sunday for the Vintage, I'm about 2 hrs south, looking forward to the show.. Nice display in the Museum and admission is included in the show entry fee, very reasonable at $10 beans...........

Updating this post, went to the Vintage last Sunday and was pleasantly surprised to find the Vintage BMW and Classic groups also in attendance... By the time all was said and done there were damn close to 200 BMW's in attendance at the show, it's like every 02 in existance was there, s-load of gorgeous e30's, 323 Baurs, 6 series sharks, e28's, a 1939 and a 1934 car... It was totally awsome.........

Hey Tom, Is that a 2002 Baur? Didnt know they made those. Looked like a good gathering. They had the Warhol BMW collection at Grand Central like 4-5 years ago and it was pretty cool. That 507!

Forgot to post up these beauties......... the GT350's in the parking lot were owned by the same guy that also had a number of BMW's in the show... Life is tough..;)

Be home in a few days, I'll check then. Misses and I plan to drive out since she loves the 507. She drove on a few times that was at Yankee Candle auto museum that she used to manage. The bad is we'll never own one.

ONLY reason I went to the vintage was to meet Steve(owner of Blunttech). Overall was nice to see all the dinosaurs in one spot. Too bad so many ran like total garbage and SO MANY were trailered in. Shame
