It has been on the market for what has to be a year plus by now. Has anyone on here gone to take a look? I'm more curious that anything else, because it looks nice in pictures, and $8k for a swapped late model coupe with a 5 lug swap and clean interior is a pretty good deal

I've talked to the seller a couple times today. I plan on taking the 5 hour drive down to look at it Sunday.

b12buddy, my shop is not too far from there, we are open on Sunday and can do a pre purchase inspection for you. We actually have one of our previous S52 swaps at the shop right now for some maintenance so you'll be able to compare quality if anything.

Totally worth the money to have a PPI done. This car has been for sale for so long, there must be something wrong with it.

It looks really nice in the ad, but I would be very cautious before plunking down that kind of cash.

Got some bad news today about the car from somebody other than the seller. So I'm going to hold out for somebody else's review before I drive the 6 hours each way. If somebody who had time to fuss with it got it for the right price, it could still be a good deal. Sorry for being vague, but I didn't see the issues in person.

Swap was slapped together. Its not neat and clean. My source didn't tell me specifics, but he said its a $6K car at most. It needs to be cleaned up and he said a lot of little things need to be done.

He'll go lower than $7k or trade for a gsxr. Even though I owned a sport bike, ads that go, "TRADE FOR JIXXER!" worry me.
