I know maaco is basically never recommended...

but has anyone used the one in Tinton Falls, NJ? I need a new drivers front fender, repaint of the hood and pass front fender, and possibly a little realignment of the hood. Multiple people have told me good things about this shop in particular. It is my daily driver and has a 240xxx miles on it so I don't want to spend 2,000 on body work for it ya know?

    Thanks

Don't go to maaco. My e30 is ruined thanks to them.

I can't speak for that specific maaco, but, if you do all the prep work they can usually do a satisfactory job. when I say prep yourself take that seriously. give them as little to do other then paint as you can. they have a tendency to get paint everywhere.

This is questionable advice. A local Maaco in the Bay Area is run by Oliver on here and has done quite a lot of good work on local e30's.

OP if you can get references from others and see the cars in person, as well as talk to someone from that specific Maaco, you should be able to figure out what to expect from them.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

O.K. Thanks for the tips. I don't have any experience prepping cars for body work so I guess I'll have to pass on them.
