So if anyone got an idea for a spot post it up, i'm down for a meet. Last year at the e30 Roses meet cops rolled in with tow trucks and we pulled out, not trying to do that shit this year. At the worse we could go to the public parking area at the inlet,might have to pay but it's not trespassing on "private property".

Apparently the fri night meet on 112th is a no go. This was posted on the fb page. THE MANAGEMENT OF THE COMFORT INN (GOLD COAST) HAS NOT APPROVED OR WILL APPROVE THIS EVENT. PLEASE KNOW THAT ANY AND ALL UNSANCTIONED GATHERINGS IN OUR PARKING LOT WILL BE SUBJECT TO TRESPASSING AND ALL PARTIES WILL BE INSTRUCTED TO IMMEDIATLY VACATE BY THE OCEAN CITY POLICE DEPARTMENT.

We're still heading down friday, and will still be checking out that friday night bmw meet on 112th. Then maybe head up towards fenwick island at one of the access lots for some e30 sunset pics. I'm Chad and i'll be in my Lachs 89is, see you all there.;)

^if it was the purple vw I think I saw it had like 11 degress of camber and crazy stretched tires. Not siding with the police but he had to know he was getting in trouble. Most of the complaining I've been seeing already is avoidable if the camber/stretch/static crew wasn't there but I understand that's what a lot of the cars will be. People are trying to roll in acting like theyre super bad and privileged.

Also the wrx that was impounded was apparently warned and ticketed earlier in the day and told not to be cruising the strip. They did just that, so the cops kept their word.

i completely agree about the purple car but honestly dude made it from canada with no problems and got impounded for camber.. thats a little rediculous..
the wrx chick did get a ticket earlier so its partially her fault but she was just driving around, not like she was causing trouble

incase any of you arent in the loop, as of already 4 cars have been impounded and tons of tickets.. cops arent taking to well to the show this year so if your extremely low (static), have any windshield banners, excessive camber or worn out tire and no muffler... you may wanna fix that or not take your car..

a guy drove his vw all the way from canada, 2 hours after he got there it was impounded..

I'll be down that way with a few other E30 owners. I didn't want to drive mine 8hrs, but subscribing to stay up to date!

If a meet location hasn't been planned yet, pick somewhere outside of Ocean City along Ocean Gateway, and avoid the parking/police/MK4 VW hassle. The further from the strip, the less traffic and hassle.

That event looks like the best option. I never saw confirmation on the meet at 49th. From there I might head up a mile or two to get to the first beach access lot to try to take pictures. Depends on the timing and how hungry I am lol.

The lot on the left would have the sunset in it but Im not sure if that a business lot or not.

We got a group of 7 or 8 e30s heading down from the shop, down for a gathering fri. night.

Any suggestions on a location? I'll post it up on R3V FB page and have people like Levent share it as well!
