No front plate in NY proposal

Hey guys I know you've heard it plenty of times but I'm working on a proposal to send out to NY representatives and wanted to gauge everyones interest.

Who here would be willing to pay a slightly higher fee on their registration to be able to only run one plate on their car? Think of it as an "enthusiast registration"

Please let me know your thoughts and comments. I think with enough interest we can get our voice heard!

Possibly depending on how much. I've been running on front plate on my e30 for about a year now and no issues. I've talked to some cops about it and they say since it's an older car they will most likely over look it as opposed to a brand new BMW.

i live in CA where the law's the same and with two e30s the front plate is overlooked on these old ones. I've never had a problem in 2 years

I had been running no front plate on my e30 for 6 years. 6 month ago was the first time I got stopped for it. Had it in the glove compartment and threw it on the dash before he walked over. Not ticket or anything.
With 20 million people in this state i doubt you will have luck.
