Help.

So I'm considering getting the E30 painted within this year.
The exterior is in dire need of help to look presentable. I'm not looking for show condition type of work as the car gets driven and beaten.
I am looking for a paint job that is presentable.

My E30 is not cherry. It's a purely a driver's car. The original color was Alpine White, now it's some other white... and I will keep it white.

I do want to work with a fixed budget... Again, just want the E30 to look presentable.

Does anyone have any recommended shops that I can work with?
Looking for a shop that is straight about their service w/ price w/ no surprises.
So:
- Shop + Shop Location
- How much did you spend?
- How long did the job take?
- Satisfied or high maintenance?
- Any pointers?

I do have Maaco on the radar but that's last resort, I would like to hear some of your feedback first.

Curious, what are you hoping to spend for a slightly-above-maaco-quality paint job? Wondering what the market is for something like that
