Coolant drain question

Been meaning to buy one of those funnels. And thank you for the video.

Also, wasn't sure about the last time the thermostat was changed and I saw once it goes bad, I pretty much have to drain...

hmm not sure.
Never heard about filling it through a hose.
I was just going to fill the coolant through the reservoir and blast the heat while I bleed through the screw above the thermostat,...
