What driving conditions are you putting the car through?
You can get away with upgraded and reinforced stock-ish systems...

Winter driving the 328 didn't go so well this year.
Only took it out a few times as that clutch slave cyl would drain the brake fluid reservoir while sitting still.

A driveshaft from a manual E36 328i will work.
You will need to change out the CSB to an E30 style (note early / late E30 are different as well)

Went with a cheap wrap job on my '98 328i and it's already peeling off at the edges after a year.
I mean it still looks better then the three different colours it was before, but get closer...

I have the Garagistic mount on mine, with (softer) Revshift 80A Polyurethane bushings.
Prefer OEM rubber setup for NVH but needed more rear end control to tame wheel hop from 300+whp with...
