    Really strange to have two in-car videos playing at the same time but it's interesting to hear the totally different shift points...

        Awesome cars. Any info and pictures of each car?

        Edit: Saw the link to the site at the end of the video. You used to have a crazy white e30 325 with a M20 w/ITBs right? I loved seeing that car duel with a Gr5 body M1 in one video I downloaded a few years ago.

                  Holy shit. I was going to make a comment about those pesky slow F40s but it looks like a kit car.

                  Regardless, that E30 is absolutely ridiculous. Looked like a hell of a lot of fun.

                  Just curious though, what are the factory-A ratios, and are gears 4 and 5 dog engagement or something? Didn't notice any clutch action when upshifting to the last two gears.

                      AFAIK there is no such thing as a Dog engagement Getrag 265, even the early Grp A DTM cars had synchromesh 'boxes.... Care to share the info on where you got it, or who designed/manufactured this? Thanks!

                          Dogleg dogbox FTW?

                          Nice ride height even with the wheels off the ground :p Is the S38 bowing the CF hood or something? No subframe spacers?

                              Hi!

                              I'm not actually sure what kind gearbox factory use a Group-A or DTM cars (synchromesh or they have dogbox) I think that time 1986-1992 is only syncromes race box.

                              Yes, my gearbox all moust dogleg "dogbox". I dont need to use clutch when i upshifting, i only do it "step up and down" gas pedal when i upshifting. I can down shift too whitout clutch but still i use clutch because i want to long life my gerabox.

                              There Finland is a my frends factory and they made a dogleg "dogbox" gear-ratios and inside steel shifthing fork etc.

                              Gearbox ratio:

                              1= 2.340
                              2= 1.680
                              3= 1.300
                              4= 1.138
                              5= 1.000
