    16x9 rear spacer rubbing questions

Hey guys, want to get your opinions on what to do here. I have 16x9 et 10's in the rear and the outer lip of the rim is hitting the inner fender on full load. It hasn't done much to the wheels, except scrape off what looks to be the clear on them and make them flakey and dull on the lip, which I'm not thrilled about. Granted they're only esm reps, could I polish that outer lip back to life of would i have to strip all the clear and try to work in between the fake bolts?

at this height they rubbed both a lot but i quickly raised it up after finding this out. Now i've been hitting the back roads for some spirited driving i'm finding the same is happening on hard cornering etc.

    Height now-

Anyways, I swapped out my GC Springs in the rear for 700lb from my older setup which has around 400-500. This made it much better but the tire and outter lip still hit under full load. Should I add a spacer in the rear to avoid hitting the rim and only rub the tire on occasion? Thinking 8mm or 10mm spacer to make a final ET of 2 or 0. Also I'm on Falken 215/40's.

    Thanks!!

Roll your fenders more. That shouldn't hit at all if you have a good roll.

Fenders are rolled a bit, but I think they could go more. I suppose the best option would be to roll them out more, just worried about the paint...

Do you have to scrape out that inner bead that sits in between the inner fender and the inside lip?

Thats odd... I have the same spring rate as you, basicly unrolled fenders and I barely ever rub my tires(it'd be impossible to hit the wheel), even on track.

Now that I looked, a spacer to only hit the tire would definitely be a good idea.

Im running et0 on an 8 with a 205/40 and I never rub tire or fender under full load. I have 5" 750lb rear springs with no adjusters. You need to roll the inner lip completely flat. You should have no problems at all running those wheels at that height.

A spacer will definitely NOT help your situation. Roll them more, you'll be fine.

I've read somewhere that you can't roll e30 rear fenders
I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)
