    $500 e30!

Just picked up a 1987 sedan for 500 bucks! This is my first e30 and I'm excited to get started on it. It starts and runs fine, and has a great interior as well.

    The good:
    Runs
    Great Interior
    500 bucks

    The Bad:
inside door latch broken (fixing asap)
    needs a new water pump
    glove box is stuck shut
    power windows don't work

This is just what I've gathered in the first 2 days of having it. Will update as it comes along! Btw, anyone know how I could pry open the glovebox with as little damage as possible? And possible reasons why the power windows won't work?
    Thanks!

That's the cleanest $500 E30 I've seen in a long time. Good luck!

Maybe my phone being retarted but I'm seeing you made 2 threads about same topic?

If so please read rules and delete one. If not I apologize.

Good score on the E30 BTW.

great score and a really clean e30!
As for power windows, there is a breaker. The breaker is above the radio and has a red outline. Push that in and your windows should work.

Jeez that bitch is clean. How many miles? (since the odo broke, that is ;) )

Try banging on the glovebox, around where the latch is while you work the handle. Decent force should be used - think like knocking on someone's door, just not 'police open up' hard, know what I mean?

Very nice. Looks almost like mine that I picked up for $500.
