Just picked up an 86 325ES. This is my second BMW, had an E34 prior to this car. I am a self taught shade tree mechanic. Did a motor swap on the E34, and I am now doing the basics on the E30. I'll leave the details to a build thread.
I work in automotive industry. The company I work for builds custom body panels for late model trucks and race vehicles. We also do carbon fiber, and yes my gears are turning on this E30. I think a new hood and trunk will hit the market very soon in fact!
