    FS: Tinted digital volt meters, mounted on factory switch cover!!!

    SOLD OUT

    For sale are home made volt meters. They are tinted so its not overly bright at night. It is attached to a factory switch button cover. It snaps in place above the radio.

    Specs on the volt meter:
    Measuring:0-200 volts
    Input voltage: 4-30 volts
    Display color: red

    I attached the wires to my radio harness with 22-18 awg quick splices, you can use whatever you want.
    How I did it:
    Volt meter---------E30 harness
    wire color:----------wire color:
    Red------------Purple with gray tracer
    Blue-----------Purple with gray tracer
    Black------------------Brown.

    Wiring:
    Red wire - switched 12v
    Blue wire - volt meter wire (attach to whatever you want to measure the volts of)
    Black wire - ground

    Price: $27 shipped each to the lower 48 states, payment via Paypal.

    What you are buying:
    Volt meter attached to switch button cover
    (2) 22-18 AWG quick splices

    Looks kinda cool. I may be interested. How would you hook it up to measure battery (charging/alternator?) voltage. As you can tell I’m not very knowledgeable about electronics ☹️

      You hook it up to any 12v power in the car, like the cigarette lighter or stereo.

                    I think it would be cool if you made a whole lineup of these gauges. Digital temp gauge, pressure etc.

                      I cant find any temp displays that are in fahrenheit and small enough. As for other types of sensor displays, I dont know enough to make them. I do have a few PM's with great ideas but I dont have the skills to make them.

                        there has to be some electro gurus on here that can help with the outside temp gauge... it cant be that hard...
