I recently upgraded the brakes using the nasieg 5 lug adapter kit using e46 front bearings and the e30 m3 rear flange. I am having some issues figuring out the correct offset / spacers / tire combinations to minimize rub. Currently the front tires rub inside the wheel well in the back; and the rear tires rub over bumps or if there is a lot of weight in the car.
Current Setup:
Borbet style T, 17x8 et40 225/45r17 tires
Front: e46 bearing (+12.5mm from stock) + 7mm spacer
Rear: e30 m3 flange (+0mm from stock) + 12mm spacer
Running e30 m3 springs on Bilstein HDs, which are a bit soft...
1. What are other people running for tires/spacers with this setup?
2. What is the ideal offset rims? (Suggested was et40 w/ spacers 10-20mm for rear only, none up front)
3. What is the ideal tire size? (Considering 205/45r17 or 215/45r17?)
4. Do i need to be running a lower offset rim like a et20 or et25?
Pics:
Fronts are a bit more pushed out than the rears to clear the struts.
Thanks!
